Qingyuan Longgong Township Brand Identity Design
This project is situated in Longgong Township, Qingyuan County, Zhejiang Province, and focuses on building a contemporary rural brand identity rooted in the area’s reputation as a “Township of Bamboo.” Drawing on the region’s natural landscape, bamboo culture, and local humanistic resources, the project establishes a visual system with strong contemporary communicative power. By examining Longgong’s abundant bamboo resources, forested environment, and traditional ways of life, the design extracts core cultural motifs and explores pathways for translating ecological context into modern visual expression.
Centered on the concept of an “ecological bamboo village,” the design transforms elements such as bamboo, mountains, mist, and rural spatial qualities into a restrained yet poetic visual language. Through the coherent development of the logo, colour palette, and graphic system, the brand identity achieves a balance between regional distinctiveness and contemporary aesthetics. The overall visual approach emphasises harmony between nature, simplicity, and an Eastern sensibility, presenting Longgong Township’s ecological value and cultural character while providing a sustainable and extensible visual foundation for rural branding, cultural communication, and tourism development.
