# Branding& Packaging
THE CHILD OF BIE MOUNTAIN

This project develops a brand packaging design for wild camellia oil from Xinxian County, Henan Province, China. The brand name, “The Child of Bie Mountain,” is inspired by the iconic Dabie Mountain range, symbolising a deep connection to the local landscape and its natural heritage. In response to different usage scenarios—including daily consumption, gifting, and cultural presentation—the design proposes a series of packaging formats, forming a coherent and extensible visual system.

Rooted in Xinxian’s regional identity of “red, green, and ancient,” the design integrates revolutionary heritage, ecological richness, and historical depth into its visual language. A refined illustrative approach is adopted, using meticulous gongbi-style detailing to depict the natural scenery of the Dabie Mountains. More than ten species of representative flora and fauna are carefully rendered and embedded within the packaging graphics, constructing a narrative of coexistence between humans and nature. Through this visual storytelling, the design conveys both the product’s natural purity and the brand’s respect for ecological values and traditional culture.
